I'm pretty sure I made a mistake on my most recent birthday. Anxiously, I thought "Hey, everyone's asking me what I want for my birthday." I really only want a few select things, and not even just for my birthday, but in general. For one, I want either a nice Nikon DSLR, or a Canon DSLR. I don't come from the richest of homes, so I knew that a camera would be my responsibility once I get a real job that I can somewhat depend on for a steady paycheck to get me where I want to be. Knowing this, I just kinda through the idea of getting a nice pair of custom Nikes. I jumped right on that idea. They shipped. Found em' on my door step. Now, I regret my decision. Just a couple days ago, a couple days after I got the shoes, my girlfriend tells me "My friend's trying to get rid of his old Canon EOS Rebel xti... he has court fees to pay, and is askin' either $200 or best offer. You interested?" At that point, I was about as sad as I could get. That camera averages at $550-600; so, $200 was more than a steal. Saudy me. I need a job. My mom said this morning "Life is full of choices; make them, and move on." Sometimes they aren't the best of choices.

I love the shoes! They are way cool and only you have them. That's something.
ReplyDeleteAs for the camera, I get why you're bitter. The good news is that lots of people will get into trouble and have court fees, so maybe you'll have an other opportunity. I'll keep my eyes open for a job for you though!
