Went to the lovely lady's family Easter get-together, and one of her aunts asked if she could fix up a really old picture. Of course, she accepted. She asked if I wanted to though, not that she didn't want to, but to see if I could do anything with photoshop that she couldn't. So I took a swing at it. (First: Original, Second: Refined)
The second is more defines, cracks, creases gone, couldn't do much with the grain, patched up. Small images don't show all too much.

Book Report.
This is pretty much directed towards the "book reports" we've been working on in English 11. So, for this report, I checked out the book, "I am the Messenger," by Markus Zusak. I thought it was cool, because back in the day, Ol' Bilzco (English teacher) let us make suggestions for a few points as to what our next big project should be, so I suggested that everyone pick out a book of their chosing, to avoid any complaing about a "dumb book," and then do whatever report the teacher makes up for us. I haven't read all that much in class, but the moment I've got a free hour or so at home or wherever I'm at, it's been going by so fast. It's a great book. This book is probably gonna get me started reading again. For fun.

Mistakes.
I'm pretty sure I made a mistake on my most recent birthday. Anxiously, I thought "Hey, everyone's asking me what I want for my birthday." I really only want a few select things, and not even just for my birthday, but in general. For one, I want either a nice Nikon DSLR, or a Canon DSLR. I don't come from the richest of homes, so I knew that a camera would be my responsibility once I get a real job that I can somewhat depend on for a steady paycheck to get me where I want to be. Knowing this, I just kinda through the idea of getting a nice pair of custom Nikes. I jumped right on that idea. They shipped. Found em' on my door step. Now, I regret my decision. Just a couple days ago, a couple days after I got the shoes, my girlfriend tells me "My friend's trying to get rid of his old Canon EOS Rebel xti... he has court fees to pay, and is askin' either $200 or best offer. You interested?" At that point, I was about as sad as I could get. That camera averages at $550-600; so, $200 was more than a steal. Saudy me. I need a job. My mom said this morning "Life is full of choices; make them, and move on." Sometimes they aren't the best of choices.

Google Maps.
So, I'm browsing around on my other blog, tumblr, when I find this picture of a little white van. On fire. According to the image description, the picture was captured on google maps, "street view." If you can't see the image above, here's a link to the original site at which you'll see the picture mentioned, and a few more interesting images caught on candid google maps images.

Hey.
Here's my first post of my new blog, I guess. I'm Chris, and everything you see on my blog will at some point strike some sort of interesting interest in your brain. If not, well. Then that's just no good, and you're obviously not quite meeting my level of broad, open-mindedness. It won't hurt.
